I'll have to go with the first computer game I ever got hooked on which was Age of Empires when I was 6-7 years old I think but I was playing gazillionaire since before I can even remember how old I was. Up until that point it was just console games on the nintendo, snes, and n64. I literally have been playing games since before I even have memories and have very disparate memories of things as far back as colecovision games and even atari. Due to the broken nature of those memories I can't really offer them as an option though super mario world on the snes would be a good contender too.

First for me was Jane’s Navy Fighters back in the late 90s that would hook me on flight sim games for the rest of my life. Now it’s advanced into space sim games!

The first game I ever got hooked on was Oregon Trail. It was one the first games with legitimate replayability and was an absolute blast. Grats on 5K!

Congrats on the 5K! You've been busting your butt and I'm glad to see it paying off. The first game that I truly felt completely hooked by Was diablo 2. There were many before that could hold my attention for a few weeks but diablo 2 got my attention for 25 years. The rune system, the ability to build characters like the Paladin 10 different ways and experimenting with gear on each build was just so fun to me.

Congrats on 5k, first ever game I got hooked onto has to be Uncharted Drake's fortune, the characters, the story and the game has such big personalities and it really made me hooked onto adventure games as well.

Congrats! If I remember correctly, the very first PC game I played was called US Most Wanted. I still remember being frustrated about not knowing how to pick up a Berretta from a closet on the very first level. It was a shooter, and I was a young boy. After that, IGI 1 got me into stealth shooters. Brutal game for its time.

I don't do much dedicated cargo hauling, so the Hull series isn't something I want to own. That said, I _love_ the look of it, and as someone who has had a Freelancer (MIS) in his fleet since the Kickstarter, I really hope we get some of the refinement of the Hull series in a Freelancer and Starfarer rework. Soon™.

I would have loved the Corsair to have a small porthole in each of the crew quarters and a larger one at the end of the common room table. I'm an Origin pilot myself, but my son and the friend we fly with the most both fly Corsairs as their daily drivers and it is a great ship for its price and size.

Hi congratulations my first game i hooked on was when I was 12 years old and it was minecraft. It is amazing because the freedom you have and all the online servers to play with your friends was amazing!!!!

The 3.23 patch took away it's flask in the galley and it has some weird issue taking off from a station. But they did fix the doors being stuck open.

First game that really hooked me was Pokemon Silver waaaay back, the concept of running around in this world and building your collection of all kinds of monsters got me instantly!

Congrats man! Halo was the first game that really hooked me. I remember my mom buying it for me when I was gifted an original Xbox back in the day. Something about the space setting really drew me in, makes sense why I’m into Star Citizen now…

Just a lighthearted jump'n'run, but I really liked the idea of switching the main characters (Taz) skills by changing clothes/outfit :D

Gz on 5K! OMG Soldier of Fortune! That game was so good! My first game that got me really hooked was Grand Theft Auto Vice City on PS2. I was playing a lot of game before that but I could play GTA VC for days man.. I was so hooked! It was the first story game i ever played through :D

In my opinion, the Corsair may be the single most overrated ship in the 'verse. Dont get me wrong, it's in a GREAT spot right now... but there is a reason it is half the ingame price (or less) than all of its competotors. It is great, in an environment that doesnt care about engineering, armor values, pbysicalized hulls, atmospberic flight reworks, exploration gameplay, or the need for true long distance travel. As more and more systems come online for the game, its weakness compared to other like ships will be quite apparent with its papee thin hull, asymetric wings, heavy dependancy on its biggest wing (which is its biggest obvious target) for both flight control, flight power, and armaments. Right now it does fine, but it wont be long until its getting left behind, especially as the much older ships its competing against (Connie and 600 Explorer in particular, but to a lesser extent the MSR as well) get their confirmed reworks which will boost them even further ahead, or even just as their additional systems come online to give them even greater advantages.

I'm only assuming from this video alone, but... you can't open and close the cargo portion of the ship while it has cargo attached. In all scenes where you said you couldn't open the spindle, you were showing cargo already attached to the ship.

Bought my Super Nintendo NEW with saved up xmas and birthday moneys as a youngin. still have the damn thing after passing it around to my nephew. Super Metroid was my first gaming dive. Congrats on 5k, and thanks little man for the intro 😋

Congrats to 5K, 10K next? My first game i got hooked on, was probably the first game i bought with my own money. M1A1 - Tank Platoon - by Microprose....I was so mad I never actually got to play the Leopard 2, that was in the game as well. I remembered it had some rudimentary copy protection to work, you had to make a copy of Disk 1/2, and that copy would be your "Run" disk, then you changed to Disk 2/2 when the game started. Loved how you planed, and moved tanks, APCs and all into positions, like ambush positions....but looking back on the graphics today on Google...I can see i had a vivid imagination on tanks and all, lol.

Honestly, the MAX is the cargo ship most cargo haulers SHOULD be flying. With the changes coming in 3.24, loading and unloading massive cargo ships like the C2 or Caterpillar is going to be a real pain for solo cargo haulers. Meanwhile, the MAX is the perfect size for one person, it has an admirable amount of cargo, it can reasonably defend itself, and it can even support multicrew if you do have some friends who want to ride along.

I remember playing cruis’n world with my dad and have been hooked ever since!

First game i played and got hooked on to was counter-strike 1.5. Me and the neighborhood would have LAN parties and play because none of us had high speed internet. We made our own ethernet cables and would use books and other random items to make desks for people to play on (i.e. Using a book as a mouse pad). I still jump on counter-strike to this day and play from time to time. Loved that shooter and the competitive nature of the game!

we bought an xbox and it came with jet set radio future everybody was hooked on it for the same reason lol

The first game that I got hooked on was Knights of the Old Republic on the Xbox. The characters and writing were unparalleled, and I put hundreds of hours into it in high school.

I def played a lot of games before this, but Halo 3 is really what converted me into a gamer. Add in the social element of the golden age of Xbox Live, and I was hooked on fps' for life. As far as actual first... prob some weird education computer game my mom gave me in the late 90's - early 2000's lol

First video game I played and got hooked on was Road Rash, the real ones remember. After that was GTA 1 & 2

Congrats on the 5k subscribers! I've certainly enjoyed the ship reviews under or around 10 minutes you've done 🙂. I remember when I was little I had a Sega Master with Sonic The Hedgehog on it. I can't remember if it was my first game but it feels like it was. Something about that game, the colours, the interactivity, the unique world hooked me and I've never been able to look back. Special mention to Pokemon, Dark Reign, Duke Nukem 3D and Carmageddon also being games I played around the same time that had a big impact on getting me into gaming too.

The very first game I ever played was the first halo on the original Xbox, and I just fell in love with it. I would never stop talking about it, and it's still one of my favorite games! I only got it because my dad found an old broken Xbox and fixed it up, and so he gave it to me. Ever since then, I've loved everything about space, and I've been hooked to space for my whole life now!

My first game that got me hooked was Super Metroid. Still hooked decades later.
